Eador, Lords of the Worlds Announced

This is a new turn based strategy on the distant horizon. It seemed to be based on one of their older games that is slated as being similar to Kings Bounty or Heroes of Might and Magic VI, which is called Eador, Creation and it was released in 2010. I'm not sure why I haven't heard of that game or these publishing companies, 1C-Softklab and Snowball Studios , but it could have something to do with them being Russian.
The new game, is attempted to do a whole bunch of things at once, and they are aiming for 2012. The game is going to be a universe full of floating fragments of worlds. The people on these worlds are oblivious to the fact that there are plenty of other world fragments, like theirs, floating around the Great Nothingness. The lords of these worlds are fighting eachother for control of each fragment, each lord seemingly a god to all of the mortals on his/her fragment. The player will be one of these lords and you are tasked with rebuilding your castle, recruiting heroes, recruiting soldiers, learning spells and finding rare treasures to help you defeat your enemies. That is all off their website, and it all sounds like a fairly typical turn based strategy, which is disappointing. Although, this game has some odd mixes into that might just make it special, but it's still not out for a long long time so there is more time to learn about what it might become. That's all for now, thanks for reading.

  1. I am playing Eador, Creation right now and it is an absolute crack. It is better than KB Legend or HOMM 5, even if it looks like something from 2001.

Lords of the Worlds is just a facelift for NA market.
