The Future In Gaming Graphics?

Graphic engineers over at Euclideon released a video on Youtube claming they have changed the way gaming graphics can be rendered. Rather than using Polygons, Euclidon's technology uses tiny atoms to make realistic landscapes at an unlimited rate. Is this the future of gaming, or just a hoax? Minecraft's very own Markus Persson a.k.a Notch claims that it is a fake in a recent post on his blog. Take a look at the video and see what you think.

  1. I've read Notch's blog post and he makes a good argument. Seems he knows what he is talking about.

Regardless, what he is talking about SOUNDS good. But a little in the way of 'too good to be true' good >_>

  2. Yeah it could go either way. It might be something good for some game companies to use, but they way they are advertising it is really misleading.
