It is out, but the servers have been slammed all day so far and at the moment they work barely. Head on over to http://www.minecraft.net/, if you can get it to load. Once you get in there start looking for some Endermen, randomly generated villages, dungeons and ruins! Be back later with more news on real things, but knowing that Minecraft 1.8 is out is a good thing, especially since it doesn't state it anywhere on the actual website. Although, it does say it on the main Minecraft community website: http://www.minecraftforum.net/. It also has a list of changes and all that fun stuff.
