Another Blow to Project Zomboid

You may recall from Project Zomboid from some earlier posts. It is an open world zombie game for PC, one that has been in development for a little less than a year by a small indie team that call themselves The Indie Stone. This is a team that had originally been hit hard by Paypal issues, then farther down the line they had themselves a problem with pirates distributing the an auto-updating version of their game and now they have been burglarized. It ended up with the theft of their two main computers, with everything from the last several months of works of it. On top of that they had to move and are understandably upset. Initially there had been many furious tweets from one of the developers, fresh from the hurt and pain of losing thousands of dollars plus months of works, but now they have calmed down a bit and posted an official statement.

There were worries that this huge set back would cripple of destroy the promising game, but The Indie Stone assures their customers that they will come back stronger. Who knows how long it will take for them to get back to the point where they were, but I'm glad they are determined to keep fighting, like they always have. They also wanted to make sure that everyone who has pre-orded Project Zomboid, that their information is safe and was not part of the data stolen. The team promises to give an update on the situation tomorrow. You can check out the statement below, thanks for reading. Busy day, so I won't be back with more till tonight.

Game seems interesting, though the Sims style (direct control over the character or not, it reminds me of the sims) doesn't appeal to me much, it's still an interesting concept.

I applaud them for getting back into the game, so to speak...Seriously, I'd be pretty disheartened by such a string of terrible fortune ~_~
