Minecraft: Indy Challenge

Want to see some one of the most impressive themed Minecraft worlds I have ever seen? A world that is a giant long challenge map that has you traveling from lava filled mines to the deserts of Egypt. This map is called Indiana Jones and the Temple of Minecraft, it is gloriously epic and I cannot begin to imagine how long it took them to build this. So many of the trap ideas my friends and I have tried to do come to life in this world. I saw this over on Rock Paper Shotgun and I couldn't pass up sharing this with any other Minecraft lovers out there. You can download the map and texture pack over at the videos main post at Vimeo. This is a long video, 18 minutes, but at least watch some if it, it deserves that much for all of their effort.

Crazy amount of work went into this >_>

Watched the whole thing. Just the music was enough of a reason XD

Texture Pack is good looking too, though I prefer the Photorealism mod I'm using (256x256 resolution).

BTW: There is also an assassin's creed mod that I've seen. Not nearly as involved as this is, but still not bad.

  2. I've tried to use the photorealism one, screenshots for it look excellent, but it never seems to work for me. Have you seen the Link one? That one is absolutely nuts.

    I don't think I have.

If there is a small patching application that you can run to make it so you can use high resolution texture packs (though last I checked, it won't patch 512x512 resolution packs). Maybe you didn't run that before trying to use the texture pack?

I had a little trouble running the Photorealism pack myself, but I find that loading Minecraft (to get to the Menu that is) takes longer now, is all.
