Too much Uncharted 3 News

Uncharted 3, developed by Naughty Dog, will be coming out next month, on November 1st, and there has been two new announcements that are worthy of your time. If you have any basic questions about what Uncharted 3 is, I refer you to my previous post from June.

First off, a new copy of Uncharted 3 will be coming with an open beta code Starhawk. Starhawk is the successor to Warhawk, the PS3 exclusive sci-fi multiplayer game. Warhawk was a good game, providing an enjoyable mix of infantry, tank and jet action. Starhawk builds upon the formula, refines it and makes it better by adding all kinds of construction options to the mix. Adam got to enjoy Starhawk back at E3, while I sat on the side lines and filmed it, but it looked impressive. I've played many hours of Warhawk, so it seems safe to say that if you liked Warhawk then you will very likely enjoy Starhawk. Check out our E3 footage and short article of Starhawk here. Starhawk is slated to come out early 2012, but the beta doesn't say exactly when it will start or end, just that you will get multiplayer access. For the full info on the Starhawk Beta, check out the PSN blog.

The second bit of news is about the Uncharted 3 Storms AMC Theatres event. From October 18th to the October 20th, Naughty Dog will be doing an mulitplayer event at five AMC theatres; in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., New York City and Dallas. You can play Uncharted 3 first before anyone else, in 3d and on huge screens. They will be doing multiplayer tournaments, prize giveaways and showing an inside look at the development of Uncharted 3. Sounds pretty cool yeah? Well, maybe not after you see the price. You can go this event with general admission for $25, which will get you and give you access to everything, but there is also the Uncharted 3 Premium Pass for $60. Oddly enough, the $60 deal is a great deal. For $60 you get into the event with everything and they will ship Uncharted 3 to your door on October 25th, before it's released! I must say that is a pretty great deal for any fan of the game, especially anyone who was already planning on getting the game. Wish I could afford that one, but if you can it's definitely worth it. If you want to check out more details on this check out the PSN blog post about it or the AMC Theatres info on it. Thanks for reading and hopefully you all didn't know about this event already, maybe I will see someone there if you are going in Los Angeles.
