Tower 22 has been flaunted around at plenty of gaming sites lately, so you may have seen it already, but it is a promising looking Amnesia style horror game. Although, unlike Amnesia this game promises to have some form of combat, but mostly you will be running. They just put out the first gameplay demo of the game, showcasing the graphics and play style, but unforunately the sound is pretty awful in it (it got messed somehow) and it's not an actual part of the game. There are also a few ridiculous "scary" enemies at the end of the demo. Tower 22 will be story-driven, but there will be no hand holding with the story, it must be found and explored. You work in a soviet era apartment building as a caretaker, exploring the odd parts of the building in your spare time, but the building turns out to be abnormal. There are no inhabitants as far as you can tell and your boss always seems to be giving you orders, but you never meet him. While Tower 22 will have shooting and action, it's main focus will be on story and atmosphere. The FPS mechanics sound like they will act a deterrent, not a solution. It will be one big world inside the apartment building. That's about it for this game for now, it's pretty new and it's just garnering some popularity. It was originally created by the blog owner, named Rick, but now they are starting to form a team. Hopefully this game comes to some kind of fruition instead of disappearing into space.
