This Dead Island DLC was supposed to come out in October but due to the large number of technical problems that Dead Island shipped with they could no longer meet that mark. Now the Bloodbath Arena DLC has been dated for the 22nd of November on all three platforms. If you know little or nothing about this popular open world zombie game then I suggest you check out my not so glowing review. The Bloodbath Arena is a survival based mode that lets you single handily, or with friends, fight against waves of continuously more difficult zombies. Any items or money that you earn will be carried over into the single player game and vice versa. It's all pretty typical of what you would expect from an arena survival mode. There will be four arenas to fight at and there will be online leaderboards so you can compare scores with friends or whomever. There is one new weapon, the brain wave bomb, but otherwise there isn't much to it. This DLC will be free to anyone who pre-ordered the game and for everyone else it will cost $10 or 800 Microsoft Points. There are much better things to be spending your money on right now but if you love Dead Island then watch out for this on November 22nd.
