Jens Bergensten tweeted a download link for the early version of Minecraft 0.9/1.9 (it seems to have two version names around the internet) today, a version that has the Ender Dragon in full boss form. 1.9 looks to also feature full NPC villages among plenty of other changes, which you can see here. Next week Minecon will be taking place and so will the 1.0 official release of Minecraft. Personally I will be holding off playing Minecraft till it is actually release as 1.0, but if you want to get your hands on the current version then head on over to either of the links below to download it.
