Minecon started today and with it comes the release of Minecraft. If you don't own the game then get the hell out of here, but if you for some reason want to buy it and you haven't already it is now up to $26.95, instead of $15. Head on over to the store to get the game or other merchandise. The website was down earlier but now it seems to be working just fine. The 1.0 version has NPC villages, experience, skills, achievements an actual end game boss, plus all the original things that people love about Minecraft. If you already own the game just run Minecraft and it will automatically update to version 1.0.
