I'm not talking about some unsubstantial piece of rubbish DLC that gives you some weapons or clothing, no this DLC will add a pirate themed adventure to the game with a whole new area with new enemies, new dungeons, new items and player housing. They are oddly very serious about the player housing, claiming it to be one of the most significant features of this DLC. It is called The Legend of Dead Kel and the new adventure is about a place called Gallows End, which will have side quests on top of the main quest. The area itself will be rather large and will precisely add 15% to the total land mass. It is going to be $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points, and it will be arriving on March 20th. Read on for some more detailed information on housing and the new content.

Housing is the most interesting feature to me, seeing as how the original game didn't have anything like that as far as I am aware. You will be able to obtain a place called Gravehal Keep and it is a giant estate with many buildings. You will have retainers, retainers that actually have a back story attached to them, and there will be side quests to get, plus there will be new perks associated with the Keep. That's all for housing, for now, but they are putting together a Q&A over at the forums and will be posting answers to that at some point. In regards to new items there will be: eight new armor sets, eight new shields, eighteen new weapons and three new twists of fate, which aren't really items, but they are things that you earn/collect. That is all for now, but I'm actually more interested in that DLC than I am in the actual game, which I do intend to play through at some point and own. You rarely see DLC that contain this much content or contain new elements, like housing, so it looks like they did a good job with this one. Thanks for reading and I will be back tomorrow with more.
