Trine 2 was a exciting, challenging and gorgeous game and Frozenbyte Entertainment has been hinting at a new DLC or expansion since GDC. Now we have the first information and video about the upcoming unnamed expansion. First and foremost, if you don't know of Trine 2 I whole heartily recommend checking out my Trine 2 review for the PC version, it is one of my favorite side scrolling puzzle/platformers. More details for the Trine 2 expansion will be coming sometime in the next couple of months, before Spring ends, but for now we know that it will include a new six level campaign, new enemies and new skills. Furthermore the new skills will transfer over into the original campaign and can be used there.  The environment will also be entirely new, which you can tell from the video. No pricing news yet, or release date, but knowing Frozenbyte I can't imagine the expansion being very pricey at all, especially since the original game isn't all that pricey itself.
