Last week Naughty Dog released a cinematic in-game trailer for The Last of Us. It didn't actually contain any gameplay, but it was using the game's engine, which is now evident by a slew of new screenshots that they have released. The screenshots show a little bit of combat, but they mostly show the ruined overgrown city as Ellie and Joel move through it. It all looks absolutely stunning. They will be showing off a lot more at E3, but for now all we know is that the Last of Us has a 2012 release date. There are about a dozen or so new screenshots, so check them all out below. I really don't' want to murder your bandwidth so just click on one screenshot and you can easily view all of them in full resolution.
