The game is being developed by Zenimax Online Studios, not Bethesda Softworks, and it will headed by Matt Firor, an industry veteran who is known for his work on Dark Age of Camelot among other games. He told Game Informer that they have already been working on The Elder Scrolls Online for several years and are very excited to reveal it all. The game will encompass all of Tamriel, the area that the Elder Scrolls series has generally focused on, and it is set a millennium before Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. There will be three main factions in the game, three factions that will provide outlets for player versus player combat. PvP will have some kind of goal that involves Cryodil and the emperor's throne. I'm afraid that's all the informaton that is freely available at the moment, but if you are very interested then Game Informer is going to have quite a lot of information and screenshots of the game available in their June issue of the magazine. They will also be releasing a screenshot and teaser trailer tomorrow on their Elder Scrolls Online Hub. They will be following that by trickling out new information on the game the rest of the month, much like they have done with X-Com. Thanks for reading and check out the links below for information directly from the source.

Looks a bit disappointing and by a bit I mean very disappointing. It looks so much like any fantasy MMO that you would not think that this is Elder Scrolls Online. Check out more on that at Game Informer below in the links.
