On
May 24th iPhone/iPad gamers can expect to see a new update for
Infinity Blade 2. Not too long ago they released Clash Mob, a mode of sorts that has everyone collectively battle a single boss and work down its health as a collective. Once that boss was defeated everyone who participated in injuring it received rewards. It was an interesting mode that gave everyone to work on together. Feel free to check that out
here, but this update has nothing to do with Clash Mob. The Vault of Tears update is the largest update
Epic Games has done for Infinity Blade 2 and it adds quite a bit to the game. One of the first and most insignificant things it adds has to do with integrating Facebook/Twitter with the Clash Mob mode. You can have friends and family help you in-game when they like or re-tweet battle calls. I don't know what those are, nor do I know how that works, especially since it doesn't say, but I don't believe anyone reading this cares the slightest about that kind of thing. What fans of Infinity Blade may care about is that The Vault of Tears adds a whole bunch of single player content. Recognize this area?
The Vault of Tears adds in new areas, new enemies, new lore, new items, new achievements and more. A few of the new enemies they name are Moss Golem, Dark Fiend, Bog Giant and Acolyte. Item wise there are fifty new items of all varieties. There is also a new Treasure Map feature that will allow you to find these hidden allies who will help you find secret items and rewards. They don't say just exactly how big this update is, unfortunately, but it looks to be free like all of the previous updates and will be released on May 24th. Thanks for checking it out and if you want to read about it a bit more head to the links below.

Really appreciate this post. It’s hard to sort the good from the bad sometimes, but I think you’ve nailed it
